Tech giants Meta and its subsidiary WhatsApp have agreed to comply with the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal’s (NCLAT) directives regarding data privacy. Following appeals to the Supreme Court challenging the NCLAT’s orders, Meta and WhatsApp have committed to incorporating the tribunal’s privacy and consent standards for advertising data by March 16.
